I think my favorite overall project to make was the sgraffito. It was cool, because we used many aspects into the creation of the piece. I enjoy painting, and tracing, and that was the only time throughout the course that we got to incoprporate those things. While I really enjoyed doing this, I had some trouble along the way. Most of the trouble came when I was creating the monster piece. I had finished an entire monster, and then let it dry, thinking I was done with it. A few days later it started to fall apart, so I had to completely redo. It was a very frustrating part of the course, but I overcame it.
When I first walked into this classroom, I was slightly overwhelmed by the immense amount of machines and tools. There were many things that were unfrmiliar to me at first, but now that the semester has come to an end, I think I could use most things around the room. Overall, the experience in here was amazing, and I am really glad that I took this course. I will definitely in the future take up ceramics as a hobby.
